How we grow

At Silver Cloud we grow exceptional, fresh and healthy produce incorporating:

- We were a certified organic farm from 2007 - 2016. We continue to farm to organic standards.

- Non GMO seed and amendments.

- Organic seed if available as well as saving our own seed

- Only plant, animal and rock based amendments that are OMRI listed

- Minimal tillage to cultivate microbial rich living soils

- Locally sourced composts and manures from Vancouver Island

- Strict crop rotation practices to discourage pest and diseases

- Efficient, low pressure water saving drip irrigation systems

- Absolutely no chemical fertilizers or pest control

- All veggies and fruits are

tasted daily by children to maintain a high standard of flavour
